LPtv New Music Guide: Friday, July 25th

Hi, this is Lindseay Parker at Licor Pizza Records. Here with your new music guide for July 25th. LA's Own Fits in the Tantrums return this week with their sixth album, Man on the Moon. Americana singer songwriter Tyler Childers is releasing Snipe Hunter. This is produced by Rick Rubin and Silvin Esso's Nick Sandborn. And on Friday, the day of its release, we're having a listening party here at 4 p.m. to celebrate. So, come on by. It's going to be a good time. Speaking of other big exciting releases this week, The Revenge of Alice Cooper is out this week. This is the original Alice Cooper band's first official album since 1973's Muscle of Love and Bob Ezren is producing this one. So, you know this one is going to rock. I'm super excited.

Another huge legend Paul Weller. You may know him obviously from the jam style council. He is back with a covers record is called Find El Dorado. It's like covers of songs that mean a lot to him by artists like the Kinks, Richie Havens, the Flying Burrito Brothers, the Beeges, and more. This record is produced by Steve Kretic of Ocean Color Scene and includes guest appearances from Null Gallaer taking a break from his triumphant reunion with Oasis and Robert Blur the Lead. So, this is another must-have album for classic rock fans. Another legend, singer songwriter, Patty Griffin is releasing Crown of Roses produced by Lenny Kravitz guitarist Craig Ross and Memphis alt rockers the band Camino are releasing Never Always. So, obviously there's a lot of great rocking stuff this week.

So, come on by Liquors Pizza to pick up these records and more. And I'll be back next week with more new music picks.
