LPTV Music Guide: Friday, March 28th

Hello everybody. This is Lindsay Parker here at Licorice Pizza with your LPTV new music guide for the week of March 28th. For me this week, it is all about the darkness. I have believed in a thing called the darkness since 2003, and it has been awesome to witness the Renaissance. The British rock god's eighth album is called Dreams on Toast, and I will be feasting on it all week. Also out this week is Lucy Dus' fourth album is called Forever is a Feeling. It's her first solo release since her super group Boy Genius exploded into the mainstream. This record features a super group of sorts in its own right. Uh special guests include Oer Madison Cunningham and both of her Boy Genius bandmates Eden Brides and Julian Baker.

Roxy Music legend Brian Ferry, the suaveest man in rock and roll, the James Bond of rock, is back this week with his first album since 2018. It's called Loose Talk. It's actually a collaborative effort with a performance artist named Amelia Barrett, who I have to say is one lucky lady. Kudos to you, Ameilia. Allison Krauss and Union Station are also returning with their first album since 2011. It's called Arcadia, and Munford and Sons are back with their first album in 7 years, Rushmir. And then finally, I have to squeeze in one more personal pick. It is Perfume Genius's Glory. I am obsessed with Perfume Genius, aka by Cadrius. So, this is a very, very good week to be me, Lindsy Parker. So, come on by Licorice Pizza for all these records and for all your music needs. And I'll see you soon.
