LPTV Valentine's Day Music Guide: Friday February 14th

hey Happy Valentine's week everybody I'm Lindsay Parker here at Licor pizza with your lptv new music guide for February 14th obviously the 14th is Valentine's Day so why not celebrate with a band that embodies true couple goals I am talking about the hardest working husband and wife team in Roots Music the war in treaty their new album plus one it's their fourth album which was recorded at the legendary Fame studios in muscle shs they say it's meant to inspire listeners to open themselves up to the possibility of being loved aw that's so nice thank you Warren treaty however if you are more into self-care and self-love this VD Canadian singer songwriter Alesia Cara who is best known for her empowerment Anthem scars to your beautiful is releasing her fourth album it is called love and Hyperbole and just FYI if features a breakup song called dead man if that is more your Valentine mood this week and also hey ho see what I did there the Stompy folk band The Lumineers are back this week as well with their album automatic if you prefer something even more Stompy a whole lot louder a whole lot heavier Italian metal Legends Luna coil are also releasing their 11th album this week titled Sleepless Empire but personally this week I am feeling all the love from one of my favorite bands from the UK The Wombats they do hail from Liverpool but their new record o the ocean with an exclamation point was recorded right here in Los Angeles where lead singer murf as he is known to fans and friends now reside so I consider them Local Hero and a press release for this album describes it as puling with the rhythms of social anxiety inner turmoil compulsive behaviors and the highs and lows of Los Angeles life and frankly that also sounds pretty appropriate for The Vibes this week or really for 2025 so far to be honest so come on by licorice pizza this Valentine's week to pick up these records for everyone on your shopping list and more and feel the love
