Originally released in July 2016, The Echocentrics was Adrian Quesada's first true solo project. The group’s debut album, Echo Hotel was inspired by Quesada's life on the road; a record made with long desert drives in mind that sound like the b-side to a Quentin Tarantino soundtrack. The album balances the male and female energies, while also capturing life in South Texas with songs in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
The 11-track set includes a little help from his friends featuring:
Bill Callahan-Chicago based indie folk-rock singer-songwriter
James Petralli-front man for the Austin based band White Denim
Alex Maas- lead vocalist for Austin based band Black Angels
Natalia Clavier- singer for the electronic collective Thievery Corporation
Tita Lima-Brazilian musician and daughter of Os Mutantes' Liminha
Jazz Mills-Austin based singer-songwriter
The vinyl has not been available in the marketplace for over two years and is extremely rare and sought after. New 2025 pressing will be available on limited edition grey colored vinyl. The audio has been remixed and remastered by Adrian.
