Wayward [LP], Waylon Payne, Vinyl

Outlaw poet Waylon Payne makes a triumphant return with Wayward, out via Big Loud Texas. A 13-song collection produced by Frank Liddell (Lee Ann Womack, Miranda Lambert) and Eric Masse (Parker McCollum), half of the collection was notably solo written. The new masterful body of work follows acclaimed The Drifter (2003) and Blue Eyes, The Harlot, The Queer, The Pusher & Me (2020). A brilliant showcase of the razor-sharp lyrical prowess that defines his artistry, Wayward is vulnerable, honest and beaming with wisdom. 2-LP set.
