PRE-ORDER: Trio Neo - Blinka & Beethoven - Trio Neo [CD], Trio Neo, CD

On their first CD, the Trio Neo musicians - Nemorino Scheliga, Theo Plath and Aris Alexander Blettenberg - have brought together two works full of contrasts: Michail Glinka's Trio pathetique and Ludwig van Beethoven's Trio op. 38. Although they were composed at roughly the same time, they open up windows on very varied musical worlds: on the one hand Glinka's passionate, highly Romantic style, on the other hand Beethoven's classically inspired clarity and serenity.
