Excursions interieures, the new recording dedicated to the music of Quebec composer Jimmie LeBlanc, performed by the Paramirabo ensemble under the direction of Jean-Michael Lavoie, featuring mezzo-soprano Marie-Annick Beliveau. The central work, Excursions interieures I: Desir de verre, sets a poem by Michael Trahan to music and offers an intimate exploration of the psyche, navigating the realms of memory, the imagination, and external influences.
