Monty Alexander's masterpiece album "Rass!," featuring Ernest Ranglin, includes the universally recognized hip-hop sampling phrases "Love and Happiness" and "Let's Stay Together," famously sampled by heavyweight beatmakers such as DJ Premier, Pete Rock, The Beatnuts, and Buckwild.
