Homo Erraticus (Hfsm) [LP], Ian Anderson, Vinyl

The *Homo Erraticus* LP by Ian Anderson is being released on Madfish as a Half-Speed Master Black Vinyl Edition, presenting the concept album in a technically reworked form. This edition uses half-speed mastering that emphasizes the fine detail of the arrangements and is intended to give the multi-layered songs even more definition; the tracklist includes, among others, âDoggerlandâ and the closing âCold Dead Reckoning, â which provide the narrative framework of the album. Musically, Ian Anderson remains committed to the originalâs narrative density: *Homo Erraticus* unfolds it's themes across historical and imaginary scenes and is realized here by Andersonâs ensemble. The musicians include long-time associates such as Florian Opahle, John OâHara, David Goodier, Scott Hammond, and Ryan OâDonnell, ensuring that the production retains it's characteristic band sound. With this LP edition, Madfish is making the album available in a revised pressing on black vinyl that should appeal both to collectors and to listeners who value a highly detailed pressing.
