Handclaps [12" Vinyl], Diamond Ortiz, Vinyl, 12" Vinyl

Diamond Ortiz — one of West Coast funk's most prolific producer/multi-instrumentalists with 45M+ streams to his name — teams up with Debo of Funk Freaks for Handclaps, a 4-track EP that hits like a lost gem from the golden era of G-funk and talk box soul. Rooted in the classic West Coast sound of Roger Troutman and Zapp but with Ortiz's own sharp, contemporary edge, Handclaps moves from the slick groove of "Programmed 4 Lovin'" to the raw bounce of "Killer & A Sweet Thing" without ever letting up. The vinyl pressing — limited to 500 numbered copies on white label 12" — includes instrumentals on the flip, making it as essential for DJs as it is for collectors.
