“It's a little folk, psychedelic, indie rock , just a very good album/cd . It's not KISS but it's better in a different way, I think ( STANLEY/ SIMMONS ) will be around for awhile. If you want something that sounds different, new and exciting then this is for you.”

“The vocal harmonies are so incredible on this album. I love the overall 70s feel of it (it's reminiscent of Kansas, Journey, & Don McLean to me), but you can also hear so many different genre influences woven into something that is still somehow fresh and new. LOVE this whole album!”

— Stephanie Cates

★★★★★

“Incredible Debut LP. Stanley/Simmons are the Simon & Garfunkel of their generation! Fantastic Harmonies ! Incredible Musicianship! I Would Call It "Retro", But That Would Be A Disservice. Two Young Men Doing Their Own Thing, On Their Own Terms. I Just Keep Flipping The Vinyl Over And Over. One Of 2026's STANDOUT Releases. Bravo!”

“Great CD; these two sing very well together.”

— MICHAEL COMBS

★★★★★

“I wasn’t expecting much more than the acoustic sound and harmonies heard in promotional clips. This record ranks close to AJA from Steely Dan in production value and great performance. No lie this is a hidden masterpiece. It really needs heavy marketing and promotion and a push towards radio play.”

“I'm really enjoying my Stanley Simmons CD! Great new duo, harmonizing well together, great songs!. I had initially downloaded a few songs digitally from Amazon, but a CD is so much better! Only thing I wish is that you didn't use "shopify", in my view, it's malware, grabs onto my personal info, and so far it's been impossible for me to get them to delete me out of their databanks.”

★★★★★

“Great album! Lot's of classic flavors powered by a solid foundation with the lost art of real songwriting. Yes I'm a Kiss fan....in fact I spent enough money on Kiss over my lifetime that could probably put one or both of these guys through college. With that being said, I'm not like a lot of these mindless blubber headed Kiss fans whining that it doesn't sound like Kiss....and it shouldn't. I'm glad they're doing what they're doing their own thing, like Wolfgang Van Halen (wouldn't it be great if they toured together?) Hope these guys keep doing what they're doing. I'll be seeing them next month in Pittsburgh.”

— James Christopher Meadors

★★★★★

“To anyone who has said rock is dead, buy this album, light up, and travel back to when rock and roll was great. You will get lost in this music and hopefully never return. Peace”

— Jerry Bumpskey

“Love the new music and looking forward too more :) Thanks for a personal notes :)”

★★★★★

“I love this album so much! The harmonies are beautiful. It takes me back to a more innocent time. Maybe early '70s. I dig it.”

— Carl DeVaughn

★★★★★

“My husband and I are singer/songwriters. Though we're now in our 70's, we still write and record. I can't tell you how long it's been since I was impressed by a new artist enough that I went out and purchased an album. When I first heard Stanley Simmons on Facebook, I become a fan. My ONLY suggestion is from the production end. When the main vocal is Evan... I really need to hear more of Nick's harmonies. He seems to be buried a bit. And he has SUCH a great voice. The writing is original and I hope they continue to not be negatively influenced by current music styles. Keep it fresh and you will have more fans than you know what to do with. Keep it going!!!”

— Marsha Clark

★★★★★

“They don't sound like their dads' group, Kiss, but they are a solid rock duo. To me, they sound like they were influenced mostly by '90s rock, but I don't mean grunge. They're more like the Black Crowes, Days of the New and Goo Goo Dolls, although Simon & Garfunkel comes to mind when you hear "Temporary Love," and the song "Lillith" makes me think of Hozier. This is a solid debut, and I look forward to more music from them in the future.”

— Paul Johnson

“Awesome album!! Love it!!”

— Phillip Myers

★★★★★

“Surprisingly good and happy they chose their own path and style vs chasing a new version of KISS. I hope listeners give them a chance.”

— John Harris

★★★★★

“I enjoyed this album more than I expected to. It's got some really nice guitar licks and, as expected, some amazing harmonies. Stylistically, I like the changes of pace and styles from one song to the next. I really hope we get more from Stanley Simmons!”

— Andrew Debes

★★★★★

“Watching the Stanley Simmons music project evolve, has been a true musical journey. First release "Body Down" made you think you knew thw "direction" the collaboration may be going. Then title track "Dancing While the World is Ending" released, and what a jolt this track is. The video also let us see behind the scenes, with Evan & Nick's amazing humor and rapport with each other and growing audience. Catching a show in Ventura, and hearing more tracks live, left me wanting more. This album delivers! All their musical influences trickle in and out of many tracks, yet others are haunting and very much their own. From the cover art, to the beautiful vinyl, A+ guys. Can't leave out Kyle Hughes on drums and vocals. This lad is a keeper.”
