Henry Earl Sinks recorded under so many different guises that a career overview collectors' LP issued late last century was titled "Earl Sinks: The Man With 1,000 Names". An excellent singer and underrated rhythm guitarist, Sinks also pursued a sporadic parallel career as an actor, appearing in various TV series and a handful of B-movies billed as Earl "Snake" Richards. This compilation is an attempt to collate together everything that he sang on between 1958 and 1962, either under his own various aliases or in groups, viz: Earl Henry, Earl Sink, Earl Sinks, a member of the post-Buddy Holly Crickets, The Omegas and The Mar-Vels. Ironically, when he eventually achieved solo Country success in the late 60s/early 70s, it would be under yet another pseudonym, Earl Richards. This body of work has never been compiled thus before, and some of these sides are as rare as an honest politician
